1. Check out Ebay. Ebay has a vast amount of My Little Ponies, www.ebay.com. This is probably the largest grouping of My Little Pony available Search under My Little Pony or MLP for starters. Some Ebay prices can get pretty high. They also sell ponies on Yahoo auctions, which you can go to through Yahoo's main page. 2. Check out other MLP collector's sale and trade pages. Check out message boards as well (see links section). 3. Unload those 80's toys you have to other collectors. For example, trade Barbies for ponies. 4. Yard/ garage sales! 5. Check out my info pages. Find out what you can about MLP's. There are many, many different kinds. Some are not worth near as much as others are. 6. Selling on Ebay OR trading with other collectors is a very good thing. Once you start building a collection you can start selling on Ebay, OR you can trade with others. Next to Ebay, many collectors find trading the most efficient route for finding My Little Ponies. 7. Decide what conditions you will expect your ponies to be in. Sometimes tail-less ponies can easily have their tails replaced with other ponies tails, but you may not want to shell out a lot of cash for mane-less ponies if you cannot replug. Be very careful with the color match; it's often hard to get a straight match. Good luck with collecting! |
