::My Little Pony Fakes, Fakies, or Knock-offs:: You may adoringly hear them called fakes, fakies, or knock-offs. They are rip-off My Little Ponies that are often strewn in with a lot of real MLP. They come in all forms, babies, adults, sea ponies, unicorns, Pegasus, etc. Most collectors wished they did not exist; some use them for customs and some collect them. This page is dedicated to those fakie ponies that have definitely modeled themselves after the My Little Pony line. Well, at least they have taste. Do you want to see the largest collection of MLP fakies that I have every seen. Well, then you will have to take Lady Minty's Fakie Tour. You will probably never see so many fakies again, all in one place. Take the link to her main page and then head to the Bluffs section to see those great fakes. Look out for the following ponies; they are MLP imposters!!! |

McDonald's Fakie
Merry Go Round Fakie
Sea Pony
Other Knock Offs These aren't really famous for impersonating other ponies, but you will see these in lots with other My Little Pony items frequently. Sunshine Ponies come with a doll.
All are in the same mold (that I've seen). Cabbage Patch Ponies are not really
fakies, but they are often confused with real My Little Ponies. Pretty Pets are also called Remco.
They come with a rainbow shaped necklace. Painting Ponies are another pony that
appears from time to time. I don't know what these are called,
but quite frankly they scare the heck out of me. They have smaller
versions which I call Hippo Ponies, because of the head shape. |
