slang terms that you will hear around the pony community. These slang
terms develop with collectors over time.

| SS | So Soft Ponies |
| TE | Twinkle-Eyed Ponies |
| BBE | Beddy-Bye Eyed Ponies |
| NBBE | Non-Beddy-Bye Eyed Ponies |
| TAF | Twice as Fancy Ponies |
| B'nG | Brush 'n Grow Ponies |
| SHS | Sweetheart Sister Ponies |
| SW | Summerwing Ponies |
| WW | Windy Wing Ponies |
| FT | First Tooth |
| MM | Magic Message |
| RBC | Rainbow Curl Ponies |
| DB | Dream Beauty/ies |
| BB | Big Brother |
| PE | Paradise Estate |
| MO | Mail Order |
| CF | Concave Foot |
| HK | Hong Kong, a reference to Hong Kong on the Hoof. |
| China | Usually a reference to China stamped on the hoof. |
| earth pony | A pony that is neither a Unicorn or Pegasus |
| FF | Flat Foot |
| HTF | Hard-to-Find |
| NC | No Country (refers to a pony whose origin is unknown) |
| VHTF | Very-Hard-to-Find |
| M or NM or GC | Mint or Near Mint or Good Condition |
| MIPor MOC or MIB | Mint in Package or Mint in Box |
| NRFB | Never Removed from Package |
| U K | United Kingdom (Sometime referres to ponies sold outside the US in slang; just because a pony is a UK pony it doesn't mean it was only sold in the UK. This is not as common now but was especially common among older collectors. |
