The hair picks sold with the Petite Ponies (with pony tails) line were first sold with Hasbro's Moondreamers.  The star pick also appeared with one issue of the Dream Beauties line. Aside from this, the star comb or pick was sold exclusively with petites. 

In other countries, packaging varies slightly.  International card of the Ponytail Ponies pictured right. Note how the comb is centered in the package, unless their U. S. counterparts. Accessories that came with these were also sometimes different than the U. S. versions.

Not all Petite versions came with a star comb, the versions without comb able tails came with no accessories at all. The were first issued without the comb able tails, but the Ponytail Ponies became the first issue to have them and afterward, those with molded tails became obsolete.

Pretty Pony Parade

All ten came in one package and they came with NO ACCESSORIES. Card reads: A colorful collection of 10 terrific ponies.

Glowing Magic Ponies

They came in three separate packages, each with a different colored comb.  One comb is pink, purple, and one is yellow. Pink version is pictured below.
