Dream Beauties were advertised as being "All grown up My Little Ponies." They are adult plastic horses with various colors and each having the standard MLP symbols.

Basic Dream Beauty Stats:
They were released only in Year 8.
Collectors common abbreviation, DB.
There are six different sets, 18 ponies total.
They came in three different poses.
The International versions were basically the same, I know of no known variants.
Two commercials were released regarding Dream Beauties, they pictured real horses in different pastel colors.
I list them as uncommon items, most more common versions run between $15.00-$35.00.
The most common confusion about the Beauties, probably the spelling of the actual names.
