2002 My Little Pony and Accessories

Fantasy Hair Ponies
Blue Pearl (earth pony) is blue with pink and lavender hair and an ivy symbol.  She has a pink tail.  She comes with a pink heart shaped bead dispenser, pink, purple and lavender beads, and a blue bow comb.

Night Glow (earth pony) is pink with white and pink hair and dark pink flowers symbol.  Her white streak glows in the dark.  She comes with a blue and pink flower clip and a pink bow comb.

Nightshine (earth pony) is yellow with white and orange hair and a beach symbol.  Her tail is orange and the white streak in her hair glows in the dark.  She comes with purple and orange barrettes and a yellow bow comb.

White Pearl (earth pony) is white with orange and pink hair and hearts symbol.  She comes with a pink heart shaped bead dispenser, pink, purple and lavender beads, and a white bow comb.

Hobby Ponies
Globe Trotter (earth pony) is green yellow with blue hair and a blue baseball cap symbol.  She comes with red and white bandana, yellow camera, yellow and purple backpack, and yellow bow comb.

Mimosa (earth pony) is orange with yellow hair and flowers symbol.  She comes with a round flower basket, shovel, handles, two orange sunflowers, and an aqua bow comb.

Wingsong or Medicine (earth pony) is purple with dark pink hair and two blue birds symbol.  She is much like the previous issue of Wingsong or Caline.  She comes with a white medicine canister, stethoscope, Band-Aid box, blue nurse's hat, blue container, white spoon, white flower nurse's kit, white bow comb.

    I believe that there is a fourth Hobby Pony, but I have no information on her currently.

Magician Ponies

Magic Butterfly (Sky Skimmer) (earth pony) is yellow with pink hair and silver tinsel.  She has a pink butterfly symbol with white accents.  She comes with a purple magician's hat with blue and pink streamers, purple medallion, purple necklace (goes with medallion), yellow and orange flower with green leaves, green tutu, blue item, red star comb.  She is similar to Sky Skimmer that was sold in 1997; she was also sold in various other forms throughout the years.

Magic Dragonfly (earth pony) is light purple with dark purple hair and a dragonfly symbol.    She comes with a purple magicians hat, red butterfly wings, yellow and black scarf, green heart shaped purse, white medallion, white necklace (goes with medallion), white item, and a blue star comb.  She is similar to the Lady Dragonfly that was sold in 2001.

Magic Diamond Glow (earth pony) is white with blue hair an a blue moon and stars symbol.  She comes with a purple magicians hat (yellow and pink streamers), butterfly wings, pink medallion, pink necklace (goes with medallion), aqua green crown?, red tutu, yellow item, blue star comb.  She is similar to Moonshadow that was made in 1998 and subsequent years; she shares the same symbol but has different colors.

Magic Unicorns
    Two magic unicorns have been made.  The first is Diamond Glow, pictured right, and the second is another version of Golden Glow.

Diamond Glow (unicorn) is white with white hair and silver tinsel.  She has a swirling silver design covering her body.  She has silver hooves and an orange horn.  She is much like the pony Silver Swirl.  Her accessories include silver star pick and silver glitter wings.

Majesty Ponies

Her Majesty Ballerina (earth pony) is white with pink and blue hair.  Her accessories include pink satin tutu, pink star pick, and a purple crown.  Click on the thumbnail below to enlarge.

Her Majesty Pearl (earth pony) is yellow with orange hair.  She comes with a clam shell, orange neck tie, blue and white pearls, and blue solid star comb.

Her Majesty Great Romance (earth pony) is pink with dark pink hair.  She comes with a pillow, veil, bouquet, and pink star pick.

Purse Ponies
School Pony (earth pony) came in an orange butterfly shaped purse.  She is orange with purple and yellow hair and a lavender tail.  She comes with a green backpack, yellow bow comb, pen.
Sports Pony (earth pony) comes in a clear heart shaped purse with blue background.  She is purple with dark pink hair.  She comes with a pink star pick and is not pictured.
Vacation Pony (earth pony) comes in a pink purse that is heart shaped.  She is yellow with orange hair.  She comes with a large pink bow, pink sunglasses, pink bow comb, and hat.

Keychains and Cell Phone Clips (both old and new style ponies)

First off, a huge thanks to Satin Slipper for some information on them and a huge thanks to Wiggles for information and photographs (hopefully coming soon)!!!!

These are available only in Singapore and Japan, as far as I know.  Here is the Japanese site that sells them:  http://www.junplanning.co.jp/.  They are copyrighted by Hasbro but co-produced by Tomy Japan.  I don't know who produces them in Singapore.

Keychains 
The first set of key chains (top) are in the style of Year 8 Baby Rainbow Ponies. They have the same body style as the old MLP even though they are new MLP.  The eyes differ slightly from the old style MLP, lacking the thick painted eyelashes. 

Cell Phone Straps
The cell phone straps come with one of three ponies held on my a metal chain.  You can choose from Ivy, Light Heart, and Morning Glory.

Plush Keychains
These are very similar to the actual old style Softies.  They come in three styles:  Bowtie, Blossom, and Cotton Candy.

Vacation Playset

I'm not sure of the actual name of this one; Moonshadow suggests either Vacation Playset or Holiday Fun Playset as two possibilities.  The Playset itself can be turned into a small bag.  Also, when opened out, the playset is yellow with a cloud and rainbow bow over it (small yellow sun on the left side).   The ground on the playset is green and there is a decal sticker on the back depicting a mountain scene.
    Accessories include:  red and blue checkered blanket, two purple drinking glasses, white bow comb.  She also comes with black binoculars.
Holiday (earth pony) is blue with a yellow and blue mane and a green tail.  I do not know what her symbol is.  Also, I am not sure about the translation of the name.
